The Hall Of Shame

Before we've even started playing, a special mention must already go to James Thorn for the state of his car. I would encourage anyone who passes it to take a quick look at the back seats and the floorwell. If cleanliness is indeed next to Godliness, he will rot in the bowels of hell.

02/05/08 - Rolls Royce Leisure II

James again...for a wobbly-fingered, jelly-legged, backward-stumbling dolly-drop followed by a run out. Even my 7 year old lad thought it lacked effort. Not a bad captain though.

09/05/08 - Toton & Beeston

It had to be....James again!!... for managing to put his back out fielding.

24/05/08 - Stapleford

Our fielding is so poor it's difficult to know where to start. Gwyn's return made us look a little more professional but sadly the same cannot be said for Richard Gosling who made catching look "slightly" more difficult than it actually is. For future reference, when the ball is in the air, imagine it's made of glue........not soap.

31/05/08 - Bingham

The fielding was so good that there's little to feel embarrassed about. The only dropped catch came from Willis but it's my website so you can all stick it.....and nobody else would have got near it anyway.....etc etc. Taff took the mother of all catches; a diving screamer to his right hand side. He then had to be hoisted back onto his feet with the help of three teammates!

Special mention for the biggest member of the day must go to the Bingham "Umpire". I think he still lives with his mum.....
